A Game of Thrones: D20-Based Open Gaming RPG (Sword & Sorcery)

This is likely one of the most detailed roleplaying game corebooks ever published. It contains virtually everything you will ever need to know in order to set up your own campaign in the The Seven Kingdoms and in the world of the Song of Ice and Fire saga by George R R Martin.
I purchased the deluxe limited edition of this RPG in 2005 and this book is basically it, except for the chapters on the Tri-Stats rule system which were included as a treat for those buying the more expensive deluxe limited edition. Me and some friends are now setting up and playing a campaign in this world using the d20 rules.
The rules are complete but fairly complex, a lot of reading is required to gain a basic understanding of the system and while I think it is a great RPG I wouldn't recommend it to those who have never played pen-and-paper RPGs before. The sheer complexity may actually scare some away from what is an extremely fun and true-to-the-original game.
